Day 1: Arrive in Phnom Penh (Cyclo City Tour)

On arrival at the airport in Cambodia you will be met by a See Asia Differently representative, who will transfer you to your hotel and then take you to a local restaurant for lunch and your first taste of Cambodian cuisine. In the afternoon you will enjoy a fabulous introduction to Phnom Penh by visiting some of the city’s most notable sights such as the Independence Monument, Central Market, Royal Palace and Wat Phnom all from the vantage point of a guided cyclo tour.
Overnight in Phnom Penh (Meals:_/L/D)

Day 2: Phnom Penh (S-21, The Killing Fields & Mekong boat trip)

After breakfast at 8am, you will then visit to the infamous Tuol Sleng museum(S-21) and then on to Choeung Ek(Killing Fields) which is located about 17km southwest of Phnom Penh and is the best known of the various Killing Field sites in Cambodia. You will spend the morning being guided around these sites, learning about the turbulent recent history of Cambodia. You will then return to town for lunch before taking a walk along Phnom Penh’s waterfront before enjoying a sunset boat trip on the Mekong.

Day 3: Phnom Penh to Siem Reap (Tarantula Eating if you dare! & Sambour Prei Kuk)

Today you leave behind Cambodia’s capital and head to Siem Reap, pausing along the way at Skun to sample the local delicacy of deep fried tarantula if you dare! From here you continue to the temple complex of Sambor Prei Kuk temple complex is a great way to end this Cambodian temples tour, once on site a local guide meets us and takes us through the three main Cambodian temples that are found in the complex: Prasat Sambor, Prasat Tao and Prasat Yeai Poeun.  You can either walk between the temples or cycle if you prefer.  A picnic is provided so you can enjoy more time at these temples and soak up everything that you have seen on this incredible temple tour, before returning to Siem Reap.
Overnight in Siem Reap (Meals: B/L/D)

Day 4: Siem Reap (Floating Villages & NGO Visit)

This morning you will venture out to the unspoiled floating community called Kampong Phluk; known for its stilted-house villages and flooded forest. Along the way you will stop to have a look around the Rolous Market. This is a great chance to glimpse the everyday life of locals selling indigenously grown vegetables, different fish species and other local produce. You then board a boat to explore the floating community of Kampong Phluk where you will experience a truly unique way of life. The boat will then set off for the largest fresh water lake in SE Asia, the Tonle Sap Lake, before heading back to the mainland. In the afternoon we will arrange for you to visit a NGO where we will arrange a program based on your schools criteria. In the evening we will take you to the night market to buy some souvenirs before dinner and bed.

Day 5: Siem Reap (Angkor Temples & Phare Cambodian Circus)

The Angkor temples are a magnificent sight! Angkor Wat temple is by far the most famous and often compared to sites such as Machu Picchu (Peru) and Petra (Jordan) it’s definitely a must see. Your guide will be on hand to guide you through these magnificent Angkor temples, which will stick in your students memories for many years to come. In the evening you will be picked up and taken to the big top, where you will enjoy dinner before witnessing the incredible Cambodian circus. The circus is a mixture of acrobatics, music and culture as each performance tells a story about something in Cambodian culture.

Day 6: Depart Siem Reap

This morning you are free to enjoy your last morning in Vietnam as you wish until we arrange transportation to the airport for your departing flight home.
