Community Tours
(Give something back as you travel)

More and more, travellers are looking to engage and give back as they travel. These experiences are not only enriching, but also allow you to get closer to Cambodian people, their way of life and local traditional culture. Day in a Life Day Tour

Our Day in a Life Cambodia Tour visits a real village and is your chance to see the real country – an opportunity not to be missed. Join a local family and spend a few hours in their shoes. Help with activities such as the rice harvest, planting, weaving thatch or driving an ox cart. These activities depend on the season and the family’s routine on any given day. This project directly helps all villagers in providing sustainable income, year-round. It is also a perfect opportunity to capture some incredible photographs and memories. On this tour you will be looked after by a local family and spend a day in their shoes. This family will welcome you into their home and lives for the day. They receive a small payment for their effort and a larger contribution is made to a village fund. The village fund is used for special projects like water filters and wells. We work with the families to determine which projects need to be undertaken.
