The group on their Cambodia holidays

Supporting Equality in the workplace

by | Jun 11, 2019

Pillow May share their thoughts on their experience in Cambodia with See Asia differently.

We have recently been visited by 6 extraordinary women from the all-female UK accountancy firm ‘Pillow May’. It was an honour for us to host these inspirational women and look after them during their study tour of Cambodia.

During their time in Cambodia, they visited the charity ‘Free to Shine’ founded by Nicky Mih, who they have been supporting and raising money for. The foundation is a well-respected charity who are working hard in Cambodia to keep girls safe from sex trafficking, not from handouts, but by prevention through empowerment, education, nutrition and community support.

Here’s how Nicky describes the charity’s purpose, “we make it possible for children to access their local, public school. We don’t rescue or save children from sex trafficking; we work to prevent them from being trafficked in the first place.”

Thank you, Jessica and your team from ‘Pillow May’ for choosing us to arrange your study tour to Cambodia. At See Asia Differently, we would like to show our appreciation of what you are doing and we 100% support equality in the workplace and striving for equal pay and for women rights across all countries and industries.

We look forward to hosting your group again in the years to come and following the inspirational good news stories that arise from the great work you’re doing.

Thank you for giving us so many memories and we look forward to supporting the Stormers or another club with similar aspirations in their future sporting ambitions.
