Vietnam glass bridge

Vietnam’s glass bottom bridge to become a Guinness record breaker!

Fancy testing your head for heights? Then look no further than including a visit to the incredible Bach Long bridge, translated into English as the ‘White Dragon’. The bridge is 150 metres high and 632 metres long, which is almost 100 metres longer than the glass bridge in Guangdong in China. With the Guinness Book of Records to validate it as a record next month.

The bridge can be visited via Hanoi and if you act fast, we can put a trip together, so you could be standing on the bridge as the world record is announced.

Check out our North & Central Vietnam holiday that a trip to Bach Long (White Dragon) bridge can be added too it.

Returning Cambodia’s Looted Treasures

As reported last week by the BBC the Cambodian cultural minister has once again requested that the UK government return over 100 ancient statues. The looted objects where obtained during the murderous Khmer Rouge regime between 1975 and 1979; and up to the 1990’s.

At See Asia Differently we believe that these sacred statues should be returned back to their rightful home. So that they can be enjoyed once more back in Cambodia where they belong. Not only is this the right thing to do but it will also allow visitors to see even more stunning stone carvings at sites all across the country.

Check out our Secret Temple discovery tour and visit the incredible ancient sites where these incredible looted objects would have stood.

People standing on a Golden Bridge, Vietnam, Da Nang
We wanted to remind you of a news story from early in the year about the reopening of Maya Bay on the Island of Phi Phi Leh. This stunning cove was made famous when it appeared in the Leonardo DiCaprio film the beach. The water is clear, the coral reefs are regrowing and nature around the bay is healing well. So much so that the Thai tourist board is allowing 375 visitors a day and we and you to be one of those lucky few.
Check out our Beaches of the Southwest holiday and incorporate a day trip to the stunning Maya Bay on the Island of Phi Phi Leh.
